“A beautiful, spotless, modern little gem – true to its name, an art trip. My room had a small balcony over the street. The owner and staff were super helpful and enthusiastic. Breakfast was great at just €5. My husband and I preferred staying slightly away from the main tourist hub for peace and to be among locals. We enjoyed quick tapas, coffee, wine, and beer right around the hotel. The metro and a small plaza were steps away. We were about 10 blocks from the center or the Prado, 4 blocks from the train, and we liked walking. The area is diverse and livelier at night – perfect for us. A Carrefour is on the same block for supplies. September weather was ideal. The owner's brother runs a restaurant on Plaza Santa Ana with excellent gazpacho, oxtail, and flan. The brothers are a dynamic duo – visiting the restaurant made us feel very special.”
